Bad Blogger!

Oh, how time flies. I've been a tad busy, a tad uninspired, and a lot overwhelmed. It doesn't help I don't really have a focus for my blog, which would probably inspire me to post more often. Of course, so would sharing its presence with friends & family, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to go there yet.

On an unrelated note, the lightweight coat I'm currently wearing to ward off our unseasonably cold weather here in the Finger Lakes has a faint smell of piatchouli left over from a massage I had this past Wednesday (very nice, btw). The scent is so very slight that it barely registers, but is mildly unpleasant. What is it about patchouli that is so nasty? I used to wear it, heaven forbid. Now it makes me feel slightly ill.

Ah, well. Recent obsessions include needing a new cell phone, Clem Snide (rocks!), and rubber snakes for The Young Man (TYM). We have managed to chase away most of the live snake population by catching them and exposing their poor unfortunate selves to the inspection of TYM. No snakes have been physically harmed during this exercise in responsible parenting, but I think they may have been traumatized.

Target has come through yet again, however, and offers a bag of rubber snakes with their overly cute kids gardening line. I can't find it online, but I did find this lovely
eggplant rocker. Now if only it didn't have that silly face.
