Remembrance

Tasha Tudor died yesterday. Read her obituary here.

Her continued presence in the world was one of the items of note that gave me joy, that made me consider that perhaps we create our own lives. Lives that do not need to encompass all that the modern world offers us, tempting baubles and bits of nothing that may not serve us well.

When I get home, Young Man and I will read a book with her beautiful illustrations, and perhaps plant a few more of our wildflowers.
