Since I can't seem to get Small Remedies through my regional library system, and I'm on a book (and yarn & fabric & cookbook) diet, I guess I'll move on to a new selection for the 1% Well-Read Challenge. I'll come back to Small Remedies, but for now, I've placed a hold on Cider with Rosie, by Laurie Lee. Sounds folksy, and I could use folksy right now. Can you tell I often pick a book by its cover? We'll see if my faith in the folksy integrity of anything having to do with "cider" is misplaced.
A summer cold is slowly turning my brain to mush. Hopefully I can lie down at home, and just have the kids crawl on me.
