I Have Fallen Off the Yarn-Diet Wagon ...

but seriously, have you seen this stuff?

I will never think of camels in the same way again.

I have one precious skein, and I'm not sure what to do with it yet.

On the upside, I have been doing a lot of knitting, but Miss T just decided that blogging is *not* on the menu tonight. Later.

More Free Knitting Stuff

Another freebie from Knitting Daily: Trimmings. It's a sample of knit lace trimmings, and it looks like a lot of fun. Maybe fun with intermittent dropped stitches and occasional colorful language (the patterns are uncorrected from the original out-of-print sources), but fun, nonetheless.

For all that spare time everyone keeps complaining about. In my alternate life, my pillowcases have hand-knit lace trim, and my floor is always spotless.

Free! Free! And Fiber-related!

Did I say free? I am a converted fan of Interweave Knits. For years I would buy the occasional issue, but then a few years ago (maybe four?) they re-vamped and I fell in love. I now subscribe to the Knitting Daily site (as well as the mag), and today they launched a "Best of" free download of five patterns. The download won't be available forever, though, so get it while it's hot!
